The Story Behind Children's Castle Boutique

Children’s Castle Boutique began as a simple love for sewing clothing for my own children.

When my first daughter was born in 1973, I started making little dresses and outfits for her at home. Like most beginners, some pieces turned out beautifully while others never made it past the sewing table. With time, practice, and inspiration from classic southern children's clothing, my skills improved and my designs became more detailed.

When our second daughter arrived in 1980, I continued designing heirloom clothing inspired by traditional smocked dresses and classic children's fashions. Each Sunday when she wore one of those dresses to church, someone would ask where it came from.

After hearing “You should make those and sell them” many times, I finally decided to try.

In 1985 the business officially began.

What started as sewing clothing for my children grew into a company manufacturing heirloom children's clothing for retail boutiques across the country. For more than 25 years we produced clothing for stores nationwide.

Today, Children's Castle Boutique focuses on offering these same timeless designs directly to families through our online boutique.
